S’Amuser Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of three new franchises this autumn!
The S’Amuser concept of bespoke perfume counters, offering natural and tailor made fragrances, has captured the imagination of thousands. The S’Amuser experience takes place in a plush, enchanting environment featuring elements of Louis XIV and medieval Rococo décor. Think Parisian boudoir meets the country kitchen. Where clients are assisted to custom blend their own personalised perfume, whilst indulging in sumptuous chocolate fondue and a glass of bubbly… and all of this for under £25 pounds!
“S’Amuser” is a French word meaning “to amuse” or “to entertain” oneself; literally, to be touched by the muses. S’Amuser’s retail concept embodies the bohemian ideals of love, beauty, romance, amusement and creativity.
“S’Amuser is about making luxury available to the average consumer, about offering a meaningful experience to our clients each time they make a purchase.” Says the company’s director, Julie Solheim-Roe. “It’s not only a retail shop, but also a venue, an ongoing event, a place to play and celebrate…”
Ruth Borden, owner of the up-and-coming Cambridge boutique, affirms that “In our 'buy now with one click' world there's more just a desire, there's a real NEED for space to be creative, to be served, and to have one's uniqueness recognised. I want to create that space for our guests."
After three years of groundwork, and test running their prototype shop in Glastonbury, Somerset, the business is set to expand this autumn. Cambridge will see the opening of the first licensed franchise of a S’Amuser Scentual Alchemy boutique, as well as perfume counters being launched in Hertford and in Holywood, 7 miles from Belfast’s city centre.
With over 150 franchising leads and inquiries worldwide, S'Amuser looks forward to the next level of franchise expansion and wholesaling within the U.K., Europe and the U.S.A.

The nose knows that in fact all smells are not created equal. Olfactory perception is both primal and exquisitely fine.
"I wanted to write and tell you what a fantastic job I think you are doing. Its been years since I've been able to wear scent because I'm very senssitive to the additive and alcohol bases that commerical perfumes contain but to my great delight, I found that your natural ingredients are fine on me and I can wear them happily without any symptoms. It's been more than 8 hours since I put on my finished perfume and I still smell divine. I didn't imagine that it would last this long because in the past natural oils have faded quickly on my skin. What a BEAUTIFUL MUSE!
In April, Oprah (on her show) interviewed Maya Angelou for Dr. Angelou's 74th birthday. Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older. In addition, there on television, she said it was "exciting" regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day... like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist first, she said. The audience laughed so hard they cried.
Dr. Angelou also said:"I have learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I have learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I have learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you will miss them when they are gone from your life. I have learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life. " I have learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. I have learned that you should not go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back. I have learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I have learned that even when I have pains, I do not have to be one. I have learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back. I have earned that I still have a lot to learn. I have learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
